In many cases, yes. Fireworks can be used at a wide range of venues, including hotels, wedding venues, sports grounds, parks, private estates and community spaces. However, you must first obtain permission from the venue or landowner, as individual locations may have their own rules concerning noise levels, display duration and permitted firing areas.
Pendlebury Fireworks & Pyrotechnics will complete a site survey and detailed risk assessment to establish whether the location is suitable. We will consider the available space, nearby buildings, roads, trees, livestock, overhead obstructions and the position of spectators.
If traditional aerial fireworks are unsuitable, we may be able to offer an alternative using low-noise, lower-height, close-proximity or indoor pyrotechnic effects. Contact our display manager with your venue details, and we will recommend the most suitable option.

Yes. Pendlebury Fireworks & Pyrotechnics creates professional displays for events of every size, from private celebrations to major public events in parks, festivals, stadiums and sports grounds.
We are proud to fire some of the biggest public firework displays in the North West, including spectacular events in Poynton, Glossop, Buxton, Roe Green, Alderley Edge, Orrell, Bolton and Ashton-under-Lyne. These large-scale shows demonstrate our experience in entertaining thousands of spectators safely and professionally.
For larger audiences, our display manager carefully considers the viewing distances, width and height of the effects, number of firing positions and required safety areas. Every element is designed to deliver the scale, visibility and impact needed to give the entire audience an unforgettable experience.

Yes. We create professional pyromusical displays in which the fireworks are digitally choreographed to your chosen music.
Every effect is carefully selected and timed to complement the rhythm, emotion and key moments of your soundtrack. This makes musical fireworks especially popular for weddings, festivals, corporate events and memorable finales.

Yes. Your display can be customised with colours and effects that complement your wedding theme, organisation, brand or event.
Our display manager will discuss your ideas and recommend fireworks that work beautifully together. The final design will also consider your venue, available firing area, noise requirements and budget.

Yes. Subject to the venue’s permission and a full safety assessment, we can provide specialist indoor and close-proximity pyrotechnic effects.
Indoor fountains and carefully controlled effects can create spectacular moments for wedding entrances, first dances, awards ceremonies, stage productions and corporate events. We will work with your venue to identify the most appropriate effects for the available space.

Traditional aerial fireworks achieve their greatest visual impact after dark, but we can also provide selected daytime pyrotechnic and theatrical effects.
Depending on the event and venue, daytime options may include coloured smoke, stage effects, fountains, fire drawings and other specialist visual effects. Our display manager will recommend the most effective option for your event.

Low-noise fireworks are specially selected effects designed to reduce loud bangs while still creating a colourful and visually impressive display. Rather than relying on powerful explosions, they use elegant effects such as fountains, comets, glittering mines, waterfalls, coloured stars and softer aerial bursts.
They are an excellent choice for wedding venues with noise restrictions, family events and locations close to homes, animals or livestock. Although no outdoor firework display is completely silent, Pendlebury Fireworks & Pyrotechnics can design a beautifully choreographed low-noise show that provides plenty of colour, movement and excitement at a more considerate sound level.

Yes. Pendlebury Fireworks & Pyrotechnics manages the necessary display-related safety documentation, helping to make the planning process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Before your event, our display manager will complete a site survey, prepare a detailed risk assessment and produce a site plan identifying the firing area, spectator areas and any potential hazards. We can provide this documentation, together with our insurance certificates, to your venue or event organiser for approval.
Our display team will also carry out a further on-site risk assessment on the day and monitor conditions throughout the setup and performance. We will liaise with your venue regarding its specific requirements, although permission to use the land must be obtained from the venue or landowner.

Our professional display service includes consultation with a dedicated display manager, a site survey, show design, risk assessments, a firing plan and the safe setup and firing of your display.
We can also provide the required display-related paperwork and insurance documentation to your venue or event organiser. Our experienced team manages the process from initial planning through to the final firework.

Every professional display created by Pendlebury Fireworks & Pyrotechnics is bespoke, so the cost will depend on your venue, location, display duration, firing area and the style of show you choose. Options include elegant low-noise displays, dramatic high-impact shows and fireworks professionally choreographed to your favourite music.
Our professional wedding display packages currently start from £870, with larger and more elaborate displays available to suit your requirements and budget. Your quotation includes the show design, site survey, risk assessments, professional display team and safe firing of the fireworks.
Speak with our display manager for a personalised, no-obligation quotation with clear pricing and no hidden costs.

The space required depends on the size and type of display, the fireworks being used, the surrounding environment and the number and position of spectators. A small low-noise display may be suitable for a more restricted venue, while a high-impact show using larger aerial effects will require a much greater firing area and safety distance.
Pendlebury Fireworks & Pyrotechnics will complete a site survey and detailed risk assessment before confirming that a venue is suitable. We will consider boundaries, buildings, roads, trees, livestock, overhead obstructions, wind direction and safe access for our display team.
If space is limited, we can often adapt the show by using low-noise, lower-height or close-proximity effects. Contact our display manager with your venue details, and we will recommend a safe display designed specifically for the available space.

The ideal duration depends on your event, venue and budget. Most professional displays last between 3 to 15 minutes. A shorter, carefully choreographed show can deliver greater impact than a longer display with slower pacing.
Pendlebury Fireworks & Pyrotechnics will design every sequence to maintain excitement from the opening effect to the spectacular finale.

We recommend booking your display as early as possible—ideally several months before your event. This gives Pendlebury Fireworks & Pyrotechnics plenty of time to liaise with your venue, complete the site survey and risk assessments, design your show and arrange any special requirements.
Early booking is particularly important for popular dates such as Bonfire Night, Halloween, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and peak wedding weekends, as availability can fill quickly.
If your event is approaching, please still contact us. Subject to availability and venue approval, we may be able to arrange a professional display at shorter notice.

Most firework displays can still go ahead in light or moderate rain. Pendlebury Fireworks & Pyrotechnics protects the fireworks from wet weather, and our electronic firing systems help reduce the risk of misfires or interruptions caused by sudden downpours.
We closely monitor the forecast before your event and complete a further on-site risk assessment on the day. Strong winds, lightning or extreme weather may make a display unsafe, in which case our display manager will discuss the available options with you.
A display will only be postponed or cancelled when conditions create an unacceptable safety risk. The safety of your guests, venue and our display team will always come first.

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation charges reflect the planning, administration, risk assessments and firework preparation completed before your event.
If you or the event organiser cancel:
  • 28 to 14 days before the event: the deposit will be retained.
  • 13 to 7 days before the event: 40% of the booking value will be retained.
  • 6 to 2 days before the event: 50% of the booking value will be retained.
  • On the day of the event: 100% of the booking value will be retained.
If Pendlebury Fireworks & Pyrotechnics cancel:
  • 28 to 4 days before the event: 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.
  • 3 to 2 days before the event due to a Met Office weather warning: 50% of the booking value will be retained.
  • On the day of the event, if our on-site risk assessment identifies conditions that would make the display unsafe to proceed: 100% of the booking value will be retained.
We will only cancel a display because of extreme weather or safety concerns beyond our control. The safety of your guests, venue and our display team will always remain our highest priority. These terms should be read alongside the full terms and conditions supplied with your booking.
